All students will be welcome from public, private, or homeschools in K-12.

All fees must be paid prior to the competition in order to compete.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Students will bring their own hardware to the competition. Students will be allowed to use ANY hardware set up they would like. Hardware is expected to be preassembled before the competition.

Hardware should be purely navigational. A light sensor would be helpful for students as they will need to be able to identify obstacles and color shades. Each robot should fit in a 10 in x 10 in dimension.

Students must bring their own computer. Students will be strictly using software to navigate their robots, remote controls will not be allowed. Students may use any software they choose, this must already be configured and ready on their personal computer.

SCOREKEEPING

At the beginning of the competition, students will receive papers with the description of the obstacle courses, point opportunities, and diagrams with measurements. Scores will be determined in each obstacle course by the team's ability to complete the obstacle course correctly, the amount of time it takes to complete the course, and possible penalty points.
